As a lifelong resident of Ellensburg, I understand the longing of accessibility to additional necessities and luxuries, without disrupting our peaceful smalltown lifestyle. After my design schooling, my passion for making design services feel more attainable grew. I am a people person through and through, and have been a consistent participant in our community through many different leadership and outreach roles. You won't find anyone more it touch with our community, or anyone who understands the desires of the area more than I do.

When it comes to design, logic and creativity go hand in hand. And when it comes to your home, you can't have one without the other. Growing up in a rural, trade dominant region, I understand the need for function before anything else. However, I feel that aesthetics shouldn't be sacrificed when it comes to a space that we spend so much of our time in. My creative skills both artistically and visually compliment my logistical mindset when tackling any project. My eclectic design style, functional goals, and artistic abilities are an asset to any client and any space.

Ultimately, experience and hard work is the root of all success. While my tailored educational background has given me a strong foundational understanding, my industry experience is what counts. With over 7 years of working experience, I have developed a strong design eye, mastered the design and project management process, and created relationships with business owners and contractors in the community. An absolutely invaluable experience, and my determination to serve my community with my unique skillset has brought me to where I am today.

Our mission is to provide sanctuary and service to hard working families and meet them where they're at- accommodating every budget and style. How do we do that? Using our skillset to honor our client's investment in themselves and their home.

Who you're getting

Outside of the Office

When you choose to work with me, you're not just working with an interior designer. You're working with someone who is compassionate and has a heart for people.

I believe in doing business with integrity and care. I have a great appreciation for the value of a dollar, and understand that in a large scale project like a remodel or a brand new furniture purchase- it can be difficult to part with that hard earned money. After working in the industry and being a homeowner myself, I understand that ultimately the selections we make for our clients are a major investment for them. I believe that my job is to guide, influence, and educate my clients throughout their project making their investment worth it- not just financially but also an investment in their wellbeing. Being able to come home to a space that influences your wellbeing as an individual and as a user in your home is SO important!

When I'm not working in the office I am in the kitchen entertaining, outside on the river with my family, or in my studio painting. I spend a lot of time advocating for my community and am involved in mentoring local adolescents. I am a hands-on, hard worker with a passion for design and serving others, which is why I founded this company. I hope to use my skillset to impact the lives of my neighbors and those around me and make our town a more beautiful place.

My Story

I was born and raised in Ellensburg, Washington, and grew up in the most amazing community. Growing up here I participated in just about every activity imaginable. Athletics, performing arts, 4H, you name it- I was more than likely there. At a very young age, I naturally gravitated towards design and just homes in general. I was the kid that would watch HGTV with my parents, rearranged my room quarterly, and if I got away with it- my friends rooms too. I loved art and always was found creating something.

My sophomore year, Ellensburg High School hosted a career fair. At the time, I knew I wanted to do something hands on and creative, but I was still deciding. I visited an architecture booth, and was interested, but it didn't feel like it was for me.  I then went to a stand that had a local interior designer. I met the owner, and immediately fell in love with design. She told me about how she got to work with clients designing homes, picking out finishes, and so much more. I immediately begged her for an internship and she informed me that the design center would be opening soon. A month or so went by and the showroom had its grand opening. I came in after hours and found two designers chatting in the kitchen. I reintroduced myself and asked if they had any internship or job shadowing opportunities. One of them said "I'm going on site at 3pm tomorrow, wanna come?" Of course I said yes, and the next day I was helping her on a consult and measuring! Some time had passed and in the spring I got a phone call with a job offer. She had me overseeing the wallpaper side of her design company, a resource I still appreciate today. I was packing and shipping orders, cutting wallpaper, and after a while I was going on site more with her and putting together palettes for her clients, and next thing I knew I was one of her assistants. By June I was splitting my time between the two designers. One of them had brought me on to do mood boards for her as well along with watching the retail shop.

Overtime, I transitioned to being her full time employee. I worked my way up the ladder at and earned myself the title "Design Assistant".

Working for this local showroom was life changing. She took me under her wing and over the years I'd grown so much, quickly realizing my passion. She was including me in entire projects, teaching me just about every trick of the trade, and so much more. I learned how to use the design software where we would draw up floorplans and cabinet layouts, etc. and complete bids and estimates. I would meet with clients, go onsite, and do staging jobs. All this and everything in between. Over time putting together pallets and doing window displays became second nature.

This experience gave me a huge foundation to build my career on. I knew shortly after working in the industry that I wanted to continue to pursue my career in school. I applied to my first choice college, University of Idaho, and was accepted 2 weeks later. I bounced around schools my sophomore year, following my high school sweetheart, from U of I to WSU and landed at CWU where I got to earn a much more customized degree that caters to my strengths and educational needs. During my entire college career, I was still working in my professional one. Each program I attended gave me different opportunities and foundational skills and I'm very lucky to have attended each of them. The design programs I attended were extremely cutthroat and competitive, which only strengthened my skillset. Having real world working experience in the industry put me at the top of my class numerous times.

After years of experience and schooling, I decided to go into business for myself. It was something I had always wanted, and it took some time, but I got here! So much life happened between all of these milestones, but I'm fortunate enough to have a supportive family and husband, community members, and clients. I would not be able to chase my passion without them.

I hope to use my experience and education to develop my clientele and continue serving my community. I plan to be a one stop shop for my clients: interior and exterior finishes, furnishings, and project management. I firmly believe in cohesion, which is easy to accomplish when you are working with one professional- instead of juggling multiple. I am so passionate about design and giving people a space where they can thrive. During my journey, I found how unapproachable the design industry is to your average Joe. This is something that my colleagues in the industry see as well. My primary goal with this business is to develop those trusting and lasting relationships with clients that don't want the snobby designer that charges an arm and a leg for an opinion. I am here to serve and honor you and your home.

If you're looking for a dedicated, honest, and compassionate professional to guide you through the design process in your home, I would be more than happy to assist you. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my company, and I look forward to working with you.
